MedStar Physician Partners-Chesapeake Cardiovascular Associates (CCA) is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to join our compassionate, caring, and friendly team at our office located on the campus of MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. CCA at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a Cardiology office with more than ten providers. This office is located near White Marsh Mall and the Avenue, both convenient for grabbing lunch or running errands during your lunch break. We are also located on the bus line and the office provides free employee parking.

This Practice Administrator will have approximately thirty direct reports (both clinical and clerical) and will be responsible for the overall coordination, planning, evaluation, and monitoring of the physician practice.

The ideal candidate will be motivated and handle all aspects of day-to-day operations. Three to five years medical office manager experience in a medical office. Excellent managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills a must. Knowledge of Medical Manager and Centricity are a plus.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Health Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years management experience in a managed care or ambulatory care setting.

LICENSE/CERT/REG: No special certification, registration or license required.

• Reviews encounter forms daily for completeness and correctness. Addresses coding problems with providers. Alerts Practice Administrator if additional coding training is needed.

• Acts as a backup resource for administrative positions within the practice.

High school diploma or GED required. 2 years supervisory experience in a managed care or ambulatory care environment preferred. 3 to 5 years experience in billing for a physician office preferred. Experience with MS Office applications (Word), Internet and email. Must have excellent verbal and written skills. Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively with team, as well as an independent contributor.
